Frequently Asked Questions

What's included if I start today?

You'll receive an Impression Kit, Impression Appointment, a 3D Treatment Preview (showing your new smile) if you purchase the Preview First plan HERE.

If you purchase Fast Track or Monthly Payments, you get everything above, plus all of your clear aligners at once and teeth whitening. We also cover all shipping costs!

Are retainers included?

Your teeth continually shift with age due to bone density changes in your jaw, and especially after orthodontic treatment. At the end of treatment your custom fitted retainers will be available for an additional cost of $149 per set, or as low as $99 when you become a member.

Is this covered by insurance?

Yes! They are eligible for your Health Spending Account or Flex Spending Account funds on NewSmile Aligners! In addition to the thousands you’ll save with NewSmile, your HSA or FSA funds can help lower that price further!

Depending on what you have available, it could cover the entire cost!

Do wearing clear aligners hurt?

Since each aligner will be gradually moving your teeth into a new position, you'll feel slight discomfort and may feel mild pain. The discomfort usually decreases after the first one or two sets.

How long do you have to wear them for?

You'll need to wear them for 22 hours per day, and for our Night Aligners, you have to wear them for 10 consecutive hours. You should remove your aligners only when eating/drinking anything except for plain water.
